Together, we are Ontario's voice for nature.

Thank you for your interest in the Conservation Banking Workshop, hosted by Ontario Nature and Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA). We will explore the concept and working examples of conservation banking, and its associated risks and benefits. Conservation banking refers to the restoration and permanent protection of lands that serve to offset adverse impacts to species or habitats elsewhere through the use of conservation credits or a cash-in-lieu system.

Please note that this workshop will specifically focus on conservation banking and will assume participants already have a basic understanding of biodiversity offsetting (also known as compensatory mitigation).

The Conservation Banking workshop is now full as it has reached room capacity.

Location: Weston Room, Black Creek Pioneer Village, 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto
