Join us at Evergreen Resort on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula for a weekend filled with expert-led workshops, lectures, field trips, and opportunities to connect with old friends and meet new ones.

Program and Schedule of Activities

Nature workshops will occur in the morning and afternoon on Saturday, June 1st, so you will have the opportunity to participate in two workshops. The morning session runs from 10:15 – 11:45 a.m. and the afternoon session runs from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Field trips run on Sunday, June 2nd from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Participants will be picked up and dropped off at Evergreen Resort. Please do not drive yourself to the sites as there is limited parking and permissions to adhere to.
The keynote speech will occur on Saturday, June 1st at 7:30 p.m. at Evergreen Resort.

Accommodations
We have pre-booked all accommodations at the Evergreen Resort in Saugeen Bruce Peninsula in their cabins. Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to book early.
When you register, you can book an accommodation package or a non-accommodation package (see further details in registration section below).
The cut-off date for booking is May 6, 2024.
Room Details
All cabins have a fridge, full bathroom with all linens, bedding and towels included. Please note all cabins have step in bathtubs. The cabins do not have cooking facilities. Cabins are configured to accommodate an individual bedroom or multiple rooms per cabin with a shared washroom and common space.
If you are looking to share a bedroom with a friend or partner who is paying separately, please purchase the “Double occupancy” and indicate their name during registration and let Lisa Martell know (lisam@ontarionature.org).

Free parking is available at Evergreen Resort.

Participants will need to move their vehicles to the overflow parking area Sunday morning before departing on field trips.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to contact Evergreen Resort to book accommodations, or will Ontario Nature do this on my behalf?
A: Ontario Nature has reserved the entire resort. If you have registered for our accommodation package, Ontario Nature will assign you a cabin depending on your occupancy.
Q: Do I need to stay at Evergreen Resort, or can I book my own accommodations?
A: You can book your own accommodations. Be sure to choose the non-accommodation “locals” package when booking. Please note that all meals – including breakfast – are included in the non-accommodation package.
Q: When will the Annual General Meeting occur?
A: The virtual Annual General Meeting will occur in late June via Zoom. We will notify all members by email.
