About this event

Join Ontario Nature's expert biologists to learn about agricultural restoration at the Sydenham River Nature Reserve! Volunteers will assist in native tree and shrub planting.

You can join us for the morning, afternoon, or all day! We are planting up to 1000 plants to transform fields into what will one day grow to Carolinian forest habitat.

Please bring a refillable bottle, wear long pants and closed toe shoes and if possible try to bring your own gloves and shovels. Ontario Nature will provide snacks and beverages but please bring your own lunch. Portable washroom facilities will be on-site.

Please note that if it rains on Saturday, September 23rd the event will be post-poned to only take place on Sunday, September 24th.
