Join Ontario Nature’s Board of Directors

We are seeking a finance professional (active or retired) to join our board of directors in the role of treasurer. We are looking for someone who is committed to protecting and restoring Ontario’s native biodiversity, and who has a strong background in financial management. The ideal candidate would be a CPA with sound knowledge of nonprofit accounting and familiarity with financial best practices applicable to a Canadian charitable organization.

If you are keen, please email Lisa Martell and let us know a bit about yourself, why you are interested and what expertise you would bring.

Demand That the Government of Ontario Do More for Biodiversity

As you likely already know, changes to the Endangered Species Act and its regulations since 2019 have severely weakened protections for species at risk, threatening biodiversity in Ontario. We cannot stand by silently while species at risk in Ontario continue to lose protections and disappear. Please sign our Action Alert to urge the Government of Ontario to restore the Act’s integrity and ensure effective implementation.
