Hello ,
Welcome to the September volunteer opportunity board! We are striving to match people who want to volunteer with environmental organizations that are seeking volunteers. The postings are from Ontario Nature and the 150 member groups that form our Nature Network.
You can see past postings on our volunteer webpage.
The volunteer newsletter has graduated from a one-year pilot, and we plan to keep it going! We welcome feedback. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email them to naturenetwork@ontarionature.org.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

Ron Corkum sat on Ontario Nature’s board for years providing oversight and strategic guidance. Among many other accomplishments he improved our Conservation Awards. Ron is active locally in conservation by volunteering with the South Peel Naturalists Club, a Nature Network member group. A retired environmental chemist, Ron has been a prolific author for ON Nature magazine, Ontario Nature blogs and op-eds. He also proofreads the magazine and provides sage advice to the communications and engagement department. We are grateful the countless hours Ron has invested into Ontario Nature.
