The Government of Ontario is Proposing to Fully Reinstate the Spring Bear Hunt
Supporters of the spring bear hunt have argued that cancelling it would cause an increase in human-bear conflict and there would be dire consequences for human safety. After a partial reintroduction in 2013, the provincial government is proposing a full reinstatement. Read more about this decision in our blog.
